Case report
Porphyromonas gingivalis was detected in the spinal fluid of a 57-year-old woman with a brain abscess complicated by ventriculitis, who presented with headache, pyroxia, and disturbance gait. Porphyromonas gingivalis was detected in her spinal fluid, which indicated thus abscess was caused by a dental infection. She recovered after the tooth had been extracted and she had been given antibiotics (Fig. 1).
