We report an unusual case of a 27-year-old male patient with no previous history of abdominal surgery or other medical disease, who presented with an acute episode of intestinal obstruction due to ingestion of a bone piece which was managed surgically by enterotomy, and the patient had an uneventful postoperative course. He was advised regular follow-up once in 2 weeks initially and once a month subsequently. He had no problems at the end of 6 months.
