Summary

The authors present the case of a right hand dominant adult who sustained a fracture of the distal radial styloid with complete avulsion of the abductor pollicis longus and extensor pollicis brevis tendons at their musculotendinous junctions. The authors could not find any reports of these injuries occurring together in the literature. No formal tendon reconstructive procedure was performed but full functional use of the injured extremity has been regained.
